Co-developed by The LEGO Group and by adult LEGO enthusiasts, The LEGO Certified Professionals program provides an official way for The LEGO Group to support people that are actively engaging the LEGO brick as a career.

LEGO Certified Professionals are not employees of The LEGO Group; they are self-employed individuals that have established an ongoing business relationship with the company, and work full-time or part-time "adding value to the LEGO brick" via commercial activities. In the opinion of The LEGO Group, they represent "the best of the best", as independant model builders, buisiness owners, and professionals.
