Fair warning - It’s clunky and sometimes very buggy, although my experience has been much better than others. I find keeping spawns to a minimum helps.2. Barricade does not work half the time. The NPCs just sit there and no nothing, or they will barricade 1 window and stop. Gun reloading issues. NPCs in the companion role wont reload guns when needed. If you tell them to return to base while in the companion role the first thing they will do is reload their gun.

By default there's unique survivors that always spawn in certain locations. I turn that off tho cuz I don't like it. Otherwise the best way I found is just driving around looking for some people wildly fleeing zombies or having a shootout like madmen.
