In addition to a D0OF-R 780 Holley (429SCJ), I scored 4 C5AF carbs, 3 C5AF-9510-BDs, and 1 C5AF-9510-BC. I am not quite sure how Holley date codes are deciphered, but 2 carbs are stamped .... Can someone fill me in on the correct way to decode the date code on the front of the air horn on the holley carbs. Is it year,month week? or month, day...It was a cast aluminum or pot metal plate that was drilled for the correct metering. It screws to the back of the main body and is completely covered by the rear float bowl. Holley just identified it by stamping it with the number 17 .
