I designed and built this 4-foot-tall model of The Chrysler Building for my third children’s book, Cool City. So that it could work with the storyline, the ground floor had to be LEGO minifigure scale. Using a technique called “forced perspective”, the scale slowly reduces as the building gets higher, until each floor is only a single LEGO brick tall.
